Overview for Fabricator position.
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in working with shears & press brake machinery to create finished products, from small components to large structures, ensuring precision and quality while adhering to safety standards whilst working with various different metals.
Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow weekly production plans to build stock to meet customer demand.
• Produce bespoke fabrications to suit customer specification.
• Perform picking and packing duties accurately to fulfil customer orders.
• Engage in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Forklift license is essential.
• Strong skills in Fabricating.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production & order fulfilment.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
