Crynodeb
The post holder will primarily be responsible for providing accurate data input into the national audit database Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) along with other local audit databases. This will involve accurately scrutinising case notes and hospital systems for the relevant data that must be entered onto SSNAP in a highly accurate manner. This information will need to be brought to the weekly SSNAP breach meeting. The post therefore demands a high attention to detail, organisation skills, knowledge of hospital systems and good time management skills to ensure timely and precise data entry in order to meet deadlines. The post holder must be proficient in using various IT systems. There will be a requirement to work closely and as part of the wider stroke multi-disciplinary team such as nursing, therapy and clinical colleagues in order to ensure data quality is as accurate as possible before entry into SSNAP and other local stroke associated databases in use. There will be an element of moving and handling associated with the post due to the need to retrieve case notes from locations across the Trust in order to extract data for entry.
