Domiciliary Care Assistant – Danygraig Domiciliary Care (Bridgend & Porthcawl)
Pay: £12.70 per hour + £12.21/hour paid travel time + 35p/mile
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time
Shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30 | Weekends on a rota
Driving: Essential – must have own car

Areas We Cover
Supporting individuals across the Bridgend County Borough, including:
Cornelly • Pyle • Kenfig Hill • Cefn Cribwr • Laleston • Porthcawl • Ton Kenfig • Bridgend Town • Brackla
What You'll Do
You’ll visit clients in the community to provide personalised support such as:
Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) delivered with dignity and respect
Helping with meals, hydration, and general wellbeing
Support with mobility, safe movement, and medication prompts
Friendly companionship and emotional support
Recording clear, accurate notes after each visit
You’ll work independently in the community, with regular contact and full backing from our office and on-call teams.
What We're Looking For
✔ A caring, patient, and respectful approach
✔ Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle (essential)
✔ Previous experience in care (essential)
✔ Willing to work alternate weekends on a rota
✔ Good communicator with strong reliability and timekeeping
What You’ll Receive

✨ 35p per mile mileage allowance
