Youth Worker
Starting salary of £14.50 - £15.50 per hour (subject to experience)
Over 15-30 hours per week (1 or 2 roles)
If you want to be a part of a team that has an outstanding track record for supporting young people for over twenty years, providing amazing opportunities for young people to have fun, learn and succeed, manage challenges, and celebrate achievements, whilst ensuring a safe young person-centred environment, then we want to hear from you!
We provide a pension scheme, pro rata 28 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) and travel expenses, free on-site parking, training support, opportunity to utilise your skills and interests into your role to broaden the young people’s experiences, and the opportunity to gain youth work experience across a range of settings.
We need you to be a self-motivated and organised individual with a great sense of humour and the confidence to lead sessions, provide one-to-one and small group support, work across a range of settings including schools, detached, youth clubs, residentials and trips, for predominately 11-18yrs within Horbury and the surrounding areas.
It would be advantageous, but not essential, that you have a JNC recognised youth work qualification.
