The Role
As a Portfolio Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse property portfolio, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value for money. You will provide professional surveying expertise, supporting the council’s strategic objectives and delivering effective property management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a varied property portfolio, ensuring assets are maintained and utilised effectively.

Provide professional advice on property management, leases, and compliance matters.

Support the council’s PLACE directorate in delivering strategic property objectives.

Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and service providers to ensure high standards of delivery.

Prepare reports, documentation, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Candidate Requirements
Qualified and experienced surveyor with a background in property portfolio management.

Strong knowledge of property legislation, compliance, and best practice.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and deliver results within deadlines.
