About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive School Office Administrator to join our busy school office. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied administrative role, where every day brings new challenges and the chance to make a real difference to our school community.
Key Responsibilities
andbull; Provide a warm, professional welcome to visitors, parents and pupils
andbull; Handle incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
andbull; Carry out a range of administrative tasks including pupil data management, attendance recording and updating school systems
andbull; Support the Senior Leadership Team with correspondence, scheduling and communication
andbull; Assist with the organisation of school events and meetings
andbull; Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and GDPR requirements
andbull; Undertake general office duties such as filing, reprographics, orders and deliveries and managing mail.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
andbull; Highly organised with strong attention to detail
andbull; Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
andbull; Friendly, approachable and professional at all times
andbull; Confident using a range of IT systems including Management Information System (SIMS) - training on school software can be provided if required.
andbull; Able to communicate clearly with staff, pupils, parents and external agenciesandnbsp;
andbull; Discreet, reliable, and committed to safeguarding and confidentiality
andbull; A team player with a positive andldquo;can-doandrdquo; attitude
Experience in a school office or educational environment is desirable but not essential; training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
