In addition to inspecting buildings, you will also prepare detailed reports documenting your findings and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Review and analyze construction plans, specifications, and design documents for compliance.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation of findings for contractors and property owners.
Identify potential safety hazards and code violations during inspections and provide corrective recommendations.
Coordinate with local government officials and agencies on compliance issues and building code matters.
Respond to public inquiries regarding building codes, inspection processes, and safety regulations.
Stay updated on changes to building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Must possess a valid Registered Building Inspector certification.
Previous experience in building inspection, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with contractors, builders, and the public.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and building technology.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £385.00
