As a Controllership Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience across key financial processes, supporting the team in delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is designed to provide a strong foundation in controllership while helping you develop technical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities


Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data to support business decision-making and provide actionable insights.
Support the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Stay up to date with developments in finance, accounting, and technology to drive innovation.


What We’re Looking For


Educated to degree level or currently completing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate both quantitative and qualitative data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
Familiarity with process mapping, data analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies (advantageous).
Enthusiasm for technology and openness to learning.
