Student Counsellor

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about supporting young people's mental health and wellbeing?

Carlisle College is seeking a qualified and empathetic Counsellor to join our Student Support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our learners by providing a confidential, professional counselling service that helps them thrive both personally and academically.

What you'll do

  • Deliver one-to-one counselling sessions for students.
  • Carry out triages and assessments.
  • Work closely with safeguarding teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
  • Contribute to wellbeing initiatives, workshops, and staff training.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in line with BACP guidelines.
