Welcome to Spurgeons Wiltshire Family Hub, where families come first. We're dedicated to supporting families and young people from early years to young adulthood. Our comprehensive services include personalised one-on-one support, dynamic parenting advice and groups, assistance with accessing vital statutory and community services. We also have a digital family hub available 24/7. What sets us apart is our amazing team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a home-based role with regular work from North Wiltshire Family Hubs. You’ll play a key part in delivering support where it matters most, combining flexibility with meaningful face-to-face engagement.
Provide one-to-one and group support that strengthens families and builds resilience.
Carry a manageable caseload, offering tailored interventions that create lasting impact.
Work in partnership with schools, health professionals, and community services to get families the right help at the right time.
Champion the voice of families, advocating for their needs and removing barriers to support.
Use your safeguarding knowledge and solution-focused approach to keep children and young people safe and thriving.
Contribute to innovative Family Hub services across Wiltshire, helping to shape stronger communities.
ABOUT YOU
Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in social work, family studies, youth and community work, psychology, or a related field.
Bring experience of supporting children, young people and families, including case management and tailored support planning.
Have strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and early intervention practices.
Communicate with confidence and compassion, building trust with families and professionals alike.
Organise and prioritise a busy caseload, keeping accurate records and delivering positive outcomes.
Work collaboratively with schools, health services, and community partners to coordinate support.
Be adaptable, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to empowering families.
Able to travel across North Wiltshire and work flexibly, including evenings or weekends when needed.
