Summary

Cheshire West and Chester Council are looking to appoint a part time Inclusion and SEN Advisory Officer to their SEN Team. The role would see the successful post holder work on statutory processes in relation to the production and amendment of Education Health and Care plans. The role incorporates working closely with settings, parents and professionals. The post holder will be expected to travel between settings and council buildings to attend meetings and to offer support.
This role requires candidates to have an excellent understanding of SEN and also to have recent experience of working with children with SEN. The role will incorporate the opportunity to deliver training to settings and parents.
The role will involve a full induction, and training will be provided throughout the academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching professional who has a sound knowledge and practical experience of SEN. This is a part time role and is set at Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. This is a permanent role to replace the previous candidate who has retired.
