Summary
Hays Education is seeking a committed and compassionate Resource Base Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ellesmere Port. This full‑time role begins after the Easter break and will run until the end of the academic year, with a strong possibility of continuing into the next academic year for the right candidate.

Your new role
As the Resource Base Teacher, you will:
- Lead teaching and learning for a small group of pupils with diverse needs
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that support academic, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider inclusion strategy across the school
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, ideally in a resource base or specialist setting
- Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and individualised learning plans
- Excellent communication, patience, and behaviour‑support skills
- A nurturing, resilient, and proactive approach
