Brief description: Support pupils aged 5-11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and Social Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH) needs across an Ofsted 'Outstanding' all-through setting. Permanent Contract for January 2026
About the school: A welcoming primary setting dedicated to inclusive education. The school provides a safe, structured environment where pupils with special educational needs receive tailored support to thrive academically and socially. Staff work collaboratively to create a positive atmosphere that promotes confidence and independence.
About the role: Assist pupils with special educational needs, providing tailored support in class and during activities.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Work closely with teachers to implement learning plans
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Support emotional and social development
Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- Strong communication and patience
- Understanding of safeguarding practices
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
