We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Support, Time & Recovery (STR) Worker to join our Enhanced RECONNECT Service, a pioneering NHS England initiative.

ER is a national pilot designed to support individuals leaving prison who have complex health needs and are at high risk of reoffending. These individuals may have convictions for serious offences, including violent or terrorism-related crimes. Our mission is to reduce risk and promote recovery through a coordinated, partnership approach involving health services, criminal justice, housing, employment, and voluntary organisations.


• Engage with service users before and after release, supporting their recovery and reintegration into the community.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Work closely with a wide range of community services such as mental health, substance misuse, housing providers, and probation.
• Help individuals achieve sustainable positive outcomes and reduce the risk of reoffending.
