Summary

Pivotal to delivering these improvements and fostering a culture of exceptional care will be the appointment of an accomplished and visionary Executive Chief Financial Officer to join our Board. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will advise the Board on financial, contractual, commercial, and performance matters, overseeing the finance, performance, and procurement functions of the Trust and ensuring the effective management of resources and delivery of financial objectives, aligning with our Exceptional Care Together strategy.We are seeking a proven leader with a track record of driving organisational change within a complex healthcare environment.

You will be instrumental in crafting financial plans and frameworks and ensuring their effective execution. Additionally, you will provide the structure for performance management, supporting the CEO in maintaining a strong working relationship with NHSE and Derbyshire and Staffordshire Systems. Your role will also entail managing the development and delivery of the Trust's Estates and Capital programme, as well as overseeing large-scale projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for appraising and managing the organisation's charitable funds, contributing to the Trust's overall mission and objectives.
