Crynodeb
Working as part of a team and under the direction of more senior staff, to assist in the day to day work of the specialist assay service provided by the Antimicrobial Reference Laboratory. To undertake routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on specialist equipment. To assistant in the procurement, provision and management of laboratory supplies. The specific duties carried out will depend on the allocated area of work. To participate in the preparation and processing of clinical specimens for antibiotic assay and under supervision, to communicate results back to the users of the Antimicrobial Reference Laboratory. To undertake data entry and associated clerical duties, including phoning results to service users.
