Educato is working closely with a supportive and inclusive school in Oldham to recruit a Personal Care Assistant for an ASAP start. This is a long-term, full-time position, running Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, ideal for someone with experience in personal care who is passionate about supporting children in an educational setting. DUE TO THE QUICK TURN AROUND OF THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CHILD AND ADULT DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE
The Role:

Providing personal care support to pupils in a school environment

Assisting with toileting, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and feeding where required

Supporting pupils with physical needs, including manual handling and physical lifting in line with care plans

Using hoists and specialist equipment safely and confidently

Requirements:

Adult and Child Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
