Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and confident individual to join our IT Team as a Cyber Security Analyst. In this role you will:
• Support the Cyber Security Officer in assuring the effectiveness of the Society’s cyber security controls, governance and compliance activities.
• Maintain a strong security posture across cloud, endpoint and network environments, aligned to frameworks such as ISO-27001, NIST and Zero Trust principles.
• Develop and Maintain policies, processes, procedures and evidence within the Society’s GRC platform.
• Support internal and external audits, preparing cyber evidence submissions.
• Monitor tooling such as - Defender, Purview, Intune and Sentinel etc.
• Assist with cyber risk assessments, identifying control gaps and tracking remediation plans.
• Monitor alerts, incidents and vulnerabilities, working with Infrastructure and SOC colleagues to ensure timely response.

What you will bring:
• CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security tooling (Defender, Purview, Intune, Sentinel).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A collaborative, self-motivated and solutions-focused approach.
