What is the job role?- Work one-to-one and in small groups to develop pupils' speech, language and communication
- Deliver targeted interventions with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- To work collaboratively with the SENCO, Senior Leaders and Class teachers to deliver tailored strategies and support
- To work closely with the Speech and Language Therapist to ensure that therapy plans are delivered effectively
- Encourage positive peer interaction and social communication
- Track progress, monitor engagement and contribute to regular reporting
- Level 3 TA qualification or a Speech & Language-related degree
- Experience supporting children with speech, language and communication needs
- Strong knowledge of SEND and the primary curriculum
- A calm, kind and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A belief in inclusive education
- The drive to grow and thrive as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
