What is the job role?
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups to develop pupils' speech, language and communication
  • Deliver targeted interventions with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • To work collaboratively with the SENCO, Senior Leaders and Class teachers to deliver tailored strategies and support
  • To work closely with the Speech and Language Therapist to ensure that therapy plans are delivered effectively
  • Encourage positive peer interaction and social communication
  • Track progress, monitor engagement and contribute to regular reporting
Who are we looking for?
  • Level 3 TA qualification or a Speech & Language-related degree
  • Experience supporting children with speech, language and communication needs
  • Strong knowledge of SEND and the primary curriculum
  • A calm, kind and patient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A belief in inclusive education
  • The drive to grow and thrive as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
