If so, we’d love you to join our caring and committed team at Stamford College.We’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable and proactive Learning Support Coordinator to play a key role in guiding students through their journey — from pre-entry and transition, to success on their study programme and progression into adulthood.This is a meaningful, people-centred role where you’ll make a direct difference to the lives of our learners every day.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Learning Support Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our SEND & ALS provision. Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating and contributing to all aspects of the EHCP process — from consultations through to annual reviewsAssessing additional support needs and managing Exam Access ArrangementsSupporting new learners through a positive and well-planned transition into collegeWorking collaboratively with curriculum teams and the SEN Coordinator to ensure support needs are metProviding clear guidance on reasonable adjustments and strategies to maximise independence and achievementCreating and reviewing support plans, risk assessments, and personalised learning recommendationsOffering 1:1 mentoring, emotional guidance and adapted learning strategiesCoordinating specialist support such as Occupational Therapy and external agency involvementMaintaining accurate ALS records, auditing paperwork and ensuring complianceLeading or supporting staff training to raise awareness of SEND best practiceActing as a key point of contact for students, families, tutors and external servicesSupporting with enrolment, open events and transition activitiesEvery day, you’ll be part of a team that works together to create a safe, inclusive and empowering learning environment.About YouYou're someone who brings compassion, clarity and confidence to your work.
