About the Role • Provide high-quality administrative support to senior research and knowledge exchange (RKE) staff across a broad range of research and knowledge exchange activities across the University • Coordinate and maintain effective oversight of research and knowledge exchange projects, including supervising associated administrative tasks and staff where required • Support postgraduate research students with key processes, documentation and enquiries • Assist with the preparation, submission and tracking of research funding bids, ethics applications and related governance requirements • Liaise with external organisations, partners and collaborators to support ongoing and future research activity • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems within the Research and Knowledge Exchange team • Part-time hours and job share opportunities would be considered for this role.
About You • Enthusiastic, proactive and experienced administrator with a keen interest in research and knowledge exchange • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage, prioritise and plan your own workload • A collaborative team player who can contribute to problem-solving and the development of effective processes and procedures • Confident communicating and working with colleagues, students and external organisations • Previous administrative experience within a Higher Education or research environment is highly desirable
