Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance FLT) - Ongoing Contract (Minimum 3 Months)

Location: Oldham
Shifts: 15:00-23:00 or 23:00-07:00 (Weekend working essential)
Pay: £14.77 per hour (late shift) / £16.27 per hour (night shift)

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with confident Counterbalance FLT skills? Looking for stable, ongoing work with excellent rates of pay? We're recruiting motivated, reliable individuals to join our fast-paced warehouse and production team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of our operation, including:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently

  • Picking customer loads with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Loading and unloading vehicles

  • Supporting production by clearing lines and supplying materials

  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the warehouse

  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

    • Preferred: RTITB

    • Also accepted: ITSAAR

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow clear instructions

  • Good level of physical fitness - this is an active, hands-on role

  • Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days

Shifts

  • 15:00 - 23:00 → £14.77 per hour

  • 23:00 - 07:00 → £16.27 per hour

Flexibility over the 7 days is essential

Contract Duration

These roles are expected to run for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on workload and performance. We believe in being transparent with applicants so you know exactly what to expect from day one, the role could turn into a permanent one.
