Neway International are seeking Homelessness Project Workers to join our client, London Borough of Haringey.

Location: Olive Morris Court
Hours: 36 per week (Shift pattern between 08:00 – 22:00)
Start Date: asap, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended.
Pay Rates: PAYE £16.00 per hour / Limited/Umbrella £20.75 per hour

Their Adults, Housing & Health directorate works closely with residents, partners, and community organisations to deliver responsive, compassionate, and effective housing support.

The Role
As a Homelessness Project Worker, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them access accommodation, services, and pathways to stability. Based at Olive Morris Court, you will work within a rota system to ensure consistent coverage and support for service users. This is a frontline role requiring resilience, empathy, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Provide housing-related support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Assist service users in accessing accommodation and wider support services.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and community organisations.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.

Contribute to the smooth running of Olive Morris Court through rota-based coverage.

Support the delivery of housing services in line with council policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role supporting vulnerable adults.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.

Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Organised and able to maintain accurate records.

Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding practices.

DBS clearance required prior to appointment.
