We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Homelessness Project Workers (SC5) to join our Olive Morris team on Rota A. In this important role, you will be instrumental in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, providing essential services and guidance aimed at fostering stability and independence. You will work directly with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized support plans while collaborating closely with local agencies and service providers. Responsibilities
Provide support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness to promote independence and stability.
Conduct initial assessments to identify client needs and develop action plans in collaboration with clients.
Assist clients in accessing necessary resources, including housing, healthcare, employment opportunities, and social services.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions aimed at skill-building and personal development for clients.
Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation as required by organizational and regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive service delivery approach.
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to promote a positive team environment and continuous learning.
Requirements
Experience working in homeless services, social work, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 22:00
Pay Per Hour: £16.00
