Underwood West Academy is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and friendly teaching assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team. Underwood West is a popular and welcoming primary school.
The successful candidate will become part of our inclusive school where we promote positive attitudes, good behaviour and moral understanding. All children are nurtured to establish a sense of pride and achievement in learning and being part of our school community whilst becoming happy, confident and resilient learners, each supported to reach their unique potential in a safe environment.
We are looking for a strong candidate wishing to join us a teaching assistant and Leader of our Breakfast Club provision. You will be working with a supportive, experienced Teaching team.
• The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual that holds GCSE Grade 4 or above in both English and Math’s, alongside a level 2 or 3 qualification such as a CACHE, BTEC, NVQ. You will also be willing to complete further qualifications in Paediatric First Aid and Fire Warden training.
• The successful candidate will have proven extensive classroom experience.
