Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 07:00 am – 15:00 pm (7.5 hrs per day, 15 hrs per week)
Pay:£12.51 per hour
Are you committed to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors? Join our team as a Domestic Assistant and play a vital role in infection prevention and patient care.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver high-quality cleaning services across wards, departments, and public areas.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors.
- Clean furniture, fittings, bathrooms, and toilets to maintain hygiene standards.
- Safely dispose of domestic and clinical waste.
- Replenish essential supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet paper.
- Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests, following infection control guidelines.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely, complying with COSHH regulations.
- Communicate politely and professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
What we’re looking for:
- Manual handling training and basic literacy skills.
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions.
- Strong communication and customer care skills.
- High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail.
- Flexible, positive approach and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
