Job Summary :- Assist with certain aspects of the department’s daily routines which are mainly driving a Forklift, unloading deliveries, checking product has been received and maintaining stock levels. The completion of related documentation on a daily basis.
Key Objectives and functions
When performing any task related to work undertaken in Stores it is in accordance with company policy, procedure, standard operating procedure and health and safety policy.
Undertaking duties as a forklift truck driver.
Unloading deliveries and checking items received.
To ensure that both factories are supplied with stock and top up as necessary.
Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately on a daily basis.
Undertake all related housekeeping duties to ensure the stores areas are clean and tidy.
Experience
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a distribution environment.
Familiarity with forklift operation is essential; certification is a plus.
Understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
