  • Diagnose and resolve machining and technical issues with support from the lathe team.
  • Work closely with the Lathe Area Production Supervisor to meet production targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
  • Liaise with Production Control regarding production requirements and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational requirements.
  • Assist with service engineer visits relating to ancillary equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives through to completion.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to production when required to maintain output.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to team members as needed.

    • Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and procedures.
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
    • Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours to support different shifts.
