Location: WC1H 9LT
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid role, based at head office 2-3 days a week, 40 hours per week although predominantly Monday – Friday 9 but flexibility is required for content capture at events (evening and potentially the odd weekend)
Your key responsibilities will include:
Content Capture & Creation: Proactively attend events and visit sites across Company of Cooks and eve to capture engaging photo and video content that brings our food, drink, people, and experiences to life.
Internal Social Media Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and publishing of content across brand and venue-level social channels, ensuring tone of voice, aesthetic, and messaging are consistently on brand, in collaboration with our digital marketing agency who will support on planning and execution.
Creative Briefing: Where needed, brief designers, photographers, videographers, and editors to support content production, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and brand standards.
Website & Email Content: Ensure websites are visually fresh and up-todate with compelling imagery, and support e-newsletter creation through asset development.
Community Engagement: Support community-building online through active management of content, comments, tags, and DMs (where relevant).
On-the-Ground Agility: Be responsive and mobile, able to attend events or respond quickly to content opportunities as they arise
Brand Representation: Serve as an ambassador for the company at relevant external industry and brand events.
Risk Management: Proactively identify reputational, brand and financial risks within marketing activity.
Health & Safety / Compliance: Ensure all marketing activity complies with internal brand standards, safeguarding, GDPR, and health & safety policies
The ideal candidate will :
- Have 3+ years’ experience in a content-led digitally-prevalent marketing role, ideally within hospitality, events, or lifestyle brands
- Be confident behind a camera and experienced in shooting, editing, and publishing social-first content (particularly Reels, TikToks, and Stories)
- Demonstrable experience managing social media channels and content calendars with a portfolio of successful work
- Have excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
- Will be comfortable working independently and out on-site – this is not a desk-based role
- Be creative eye and passion for storytelling, food, people, and place
- Have strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at pace
- Have proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile editing apps is highly desirable • CMS and email marketing experience a plus
