Your role:

Haigh Hall and its 300-acre Woodland Park is an established and much-loved visitor destination with over 600,000 visits per year. The estate is undergoing a transformative redevelopment into a world-class cultural destination, blending heritage with contemporary creativity. The restored Hall will be a venue to host exhibitions, performances, residencies, and community-led programming that reflects the diverse voices of Wigan and beyond. The restoration of Haigh Hall

This newly created role of Senior Curator & Producer will work closely with the Head of Cultural Programming, to develop and deliver Haigh Hall’s cultural programme plus support the development of the new gallery spaces and visitor experience.

About you:

We are looking for a highly experienced curator and producer to join and develop this new team. You will have a strong track record in curating interdisciplinary, high quality exhibitions and producing innovative public programmes that engage diverse audiences.

You will be an energetic, positive, enthusiastic and an engaging manager who will ensure all aspects of the business are effectively managed.

You will be a collaborator who works effectively with artists, cultural organisations and audiences to deliver the highest quality outputs

You will provide effective leadership and support for your team members ensuring an open and consistent approach.
