Position: SEMH TA

Location: Manchester (M15)

Pay: £95-£108, depending on experience

Start Date: 05/01/2026

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a large provision in Hulme (M15). The school supports pupils aged between 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, delivering interventions and encouraging engagement.

The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups delivering interventions
- Building rapport, contributing towards an inclusive learning environment
- Maintaining regular communication with other staff and external agencies to monitor progress

Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting young people

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
