Hours: 25-30 hours per week (4 days)
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per month on-site in Solihull


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property & Contracts Solicitor to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in property law and local authority work to manage a varied caseload in a flexible, hybrid environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle property and contract matters for a local authority.
  • Manage lease renewals, title queries, and land registry applications.
  • Oversee transfer of parts on large developments and auction sales.
  • Advise on statutory residential property matters, including council charges.
  • Provide guidance on local government law relating to property development.
  • Complete tasks related to commercial property portfolios.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and take on additional tasks as needed.


Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant property law experience (not newly qualified).
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial property for local authorities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
  • Strong understanding of land registry processes and title issues.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to picking up varied work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
