We are looking for a dedicated Room Leader to work in the toddler room at this lovely nursery in Leytonstone!
As a Room Leader, you will be a permanent member of staff and working as part of a team who are committed and dedicated to early years education. The nursery has developed a unique approach to early years care, with learning programmes built around each child's specific interests and development stages.
This nursery provides a supportive, fun and creative work environment, and there are many opportunities for career progression and further training, as well as other great benefits!
Your responsibilities as a Room Leader will include planning engaging activities and lessons alongside the team within the toddler room, carrying out observations and assessments to track children's development, and creating strong relationships with parents/carers. You will work in partnership with the Nursery Manager and lead a small team to deliver the highest standards of early years care and education.
It is essential that you hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification and have previous experience working in a nursery setting. Good knowledge of safeguarding is also required.
The nursery is in a great location in Leytonstone, with excellent transport links, as well as being close by to a lovely park!
