Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
We are proud to be supporting a well-established and reputable organisation in Lichfield who are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a standalone role, enjoys managing payroll from start to finish, and is confident working with high-volume processing.
If you’re looking for stability, ownership of your own workload, and a supportive office environment with great benefits – this could be an ideal next step.

Competitive salary
23 days holiday + bank holidays
Free on-site parking
Friendly office environment, incentives & on-the-job training
A chance to take real ownership of the payroll function
The Role
As the Payroll Administrator, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process running on a 4-weekly cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Processing payroll for 1000+ employees
Calculating hours using an internal time & attendance system
Submitting RTI information
Processing starters, leavers and employee changes
Handling payroll adjustments
General administrative duties and incoming call handling
Payroll processing on Sage Payroll
This is very much a hands-on role where you’ll manage payroll independently, but still be part of a supportive office team.
What We’re Looking For
Strong payroll experience – ideally with high-volume payroll
Confident using Sage Payroll (or similar systems)
Excellent accuracy, numeracy & keyboard skills
Able to work independently with good organisational skills
Professional, confident telephone manner & great communication skills
Job Ref: EN1025
