What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated Inclusion Mentor to join the Inclusion Room. Your role will be crucial, in supporting our children to ensure they thrive and have inclusive opportunities. The position may involve working with a specific child or group of children and supporting other children in the class with their learning. The Inclusion Mentor will plan and teach the children in our resource base 50% of the time, focusing on education and nurture and 50% reintegration into the classroom. Part of the hours will be spent supporting the children at lunchtime. The candidates should be calm and caring and able to contribute to supporting the needs of all our children sensitively. Experience of working with SEND children (ASD, ADHD, Trauma and Attachment) is essential.
