Our client is passionate about helping children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives.
They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to 18 years old, and they are looking for a Registered Manager to lead the home, shape its culture, and inspire a brand-new team.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home's operations, quality, and compliance. You will create a nurturing, supportive environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.

Responsibilities
-Lead the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
-Recruit, train, and inspire your staff team to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
-Develop individual care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
-Promote safeguarding, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for all residents.
-Work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
-Manage budgets, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
About You
-We're looking for someone passionate, dedicated, and ready to make a real difference.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a children's residential setting.
-Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's home standards.
-Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred).
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
-A caring, child-centred approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
-Experience leading successful Ofsted inspections.
