To ensure the charitys social media and website are current and up-to-date. Producing content where appropriate and on a regular basis. To be the welcoming face of the FundraisingHub, supporting the volunteers to ensure the hub is well managed, stock tidy and replenished. To manage daily cash inflow. To undertake specific fundraising projects and attend events as necessary or required to support fundraising. Working with the Fundraising Manager to develop annual plans. To support with engagement across the Trust and Walsall borough to include schools, clubs, businesses, supermarkets. To support collaborative working and build on relationships between the Your RWTC charity at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare charity Supporting with research to identify/source and make contact with new potential relationships or other opportunities for the charity to increase fundraising income. To be part of the co-management of fundraising volunteers. To represent the charity at presentations, events, meetings and networking opportunities when required. To support visits (including high profile and VIPs) to the Trust. Liaising with Trust colleagues to arrange visit schedule, request DBS checks, conduct risk assessments for the visit and where appropriate supervise the visit. Support the co-ordination of large scale fundraising events. Co-ordinating guest lists, acquiring corporate support where required, booking venues, pre and post communications for the event and thanking supporters following the event. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FUNDRAISING To actively promote the charity and enthuse stakeholders (patients, families, community groups and individuals) to make the charity their chosen charity. This will include communicating the impact of the charity, sharing approved case studies and updates that engage supporters in activities that strengthen their relationship with the charity. Engage community supporters through face to face meetings, presentations and phone calls to inspire them to participate in fundraising activities. Provide support, advice and resources to community supporters help them maximise their fundraising in aid of the charity. Support with the delivery of presentations; attend meetings and events as part of relationship management. Administration Deliver timely and personalised thank you letters for all donations received from community donors. Work with the Communications Team to deliver effective and timely pre and post-engagement communications. To support with the administration of the staff lottery. Support teams with the administration and collating of requisitions when required including the resourcing of costs and ideas. Keep updated with NHS Charities communication. Identify and establish new relationships by researching and capitalising on donor networks. Engaging with and reporting to supporters. In partnership with the Fundraising Manager, ensure that the charity meets the requirements of any donation, including offering supporter visits, recognition opportunities, PR and updates. DATABASE Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of relevant supporter communications, opportunities, relationships and contacts. Maintain receipts of funds raised/donated through the Fundraising Hub. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pledges, donations, volunteering, gifts in kind and acknowledgments. ADMINISTRATION Produce reports, and other information as requested by the Fundraising Manager. Follow up enquiries, meetings and presentations and check on progress to ensure outcomes can be monitored. FINANCE Work with the Charitable Funds Finance Officer and the Fundraising Manager to forecast anticipated income based on supporter lists and specific fundraising campaigns. Liaise with the Charitable Funds Finance Officer and the Charity Manager to ensure that all donations are acknowledged and coded to the correct charitable trust fund. RELATIONSHIPS Work to build good relationships with donors and provide an excellent level of supporter care. Establish and maintain high quality relationships across the organisation, including Goscote Hospice, Walsall Palliative Care Centre and Community sites. OTHER A willingness to travel independently and work flexibly in line with supporters requirements (flexible working hours are essential for this role. Some evening and weekend working may be required). Operate within Charity Law, GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator. ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS Exceptional communication skills: written, face-to-face and on the phone. Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people. The ability to solicit and develop support for charity from a wide variety of community stakeholders. Good level of computer literacy particularly Content Creation, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Work flexibly and undertake activities as the role requires and as instructed by the Fundraising Manager. Ensure tasks are correctly prioritised and deadlines are met. The post holder will be required to adhere to Trust polices including Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety.
