Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Class Teacher will hold key responsibilities including:

Values Integration: Plan and deliver lessons that seamlessly weave in the school's core values, promoting reflective learning and social responsibility.

Assessment Leadership: Take ownership of the assessment cycle for the class, including the moderation process, ensuring fair and accurate reporting of pupil attainment.

Collective Worship/RE: Lead high-quality, engaging lessons in Religious Education and contribute to the planning and delivery of class-led Collective Worship.

Mentoring: Effectively line-manage and mentor the assigned Teaching Assistants, providing clear direction and evaluating their impact on pupil outcomes.

Community Engagement: Actively participate in school events and build robust partnerships with parents and the wider faith community.

Curriculum Contribution: Contribute specialist knowledge to the wider school curriculum, potentially taking on a subject leadership role (e.g., PSHE or Humanities).
The ideal candidate for this influential role will possess:

Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.

Experience: Proven, successful experience teaching a class within Key Stage 2, with strong evidence of achieving high pupil outcomes.
