TeacherActive is excited to be partnering with a large mainstream school in Ellesmere Port, and we’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team in the next term, with the potential to support this term.
This school is committed to establishing strong, respectful relationships between staff and students. Pupils respond well to Teaching Assistants who can balance connecting with them to create a positive classroom environment, while ensuring high standards of work are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, LSAs, recent graduates, or experienced educators looking for a fresh, fulfilling role. The school is located near Ellesmere Port near to transport links, so access to a car or a willingness to travel is preferred.
The successful LSA / TA will have experience in:
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged
- Providing support to learners across Key Stages 3 and 5
- Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
