We are looking for an Administration and Premises Officer to join our friendly and hard-working team. As a member of the school Care Club Team the candidate should be able to work collaboratively and use their initiative to manage tasks.Hours of Work: 8.30 to 4.30 pm Thursday and Friday, Term time including INSET days
Salary: Surrey Pay Grade 4
Full time equivalent - £25,052 , which means pro-rata actual salary of £8,980
This is an in-person role, located at Manor Farm Avenue, Shepperton, TW17 9AD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguarding
To be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
Administration – Health and Safety and Estate Management
Under the direction of the School Business Manager:
• To manage and record the building, grounds and equipment inspections, to comply with health and safety regulations, including statutory inspections.
• To liaise with the inspection and servicing providers to ensure that servicing and inspections are carried out at the appropriate point in time by the relevant qualified providers.• To maintain a schedule of statutory and non-statutory inspections including provider details and frequency required.
• To maintain risk assessments for premises and equipment.
• To conduct a weekly walkabout to identify premises maintenance requirements and liaise with the Site Team to action them.
• To develop a climate action plan and environmentally friendly policies to support the school to achieve environmental sustainability
Administration – Resources
• To maintain and order central stock, stationery and reprographics supplies.
• To maintain appropriate Order Requisitions system and place orders in a timely manner.
• To ensure deliveries are checked against delivery notes, raise queries with suppliers, if necessary, ensure secure storage and distribution.
Administration – Other
• To manage the reception service, maintaining front door access control and check-in security procedures for visitors and contractors and ensure calls are dealt with appropriately.
• Communication with parents incl. via telephone, Tucasi and text.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
• Excellent communication & customer service skills, including good written and spoken English;
• Good numeracy and computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook;
• Experience of premises processes, such as scheduled Maintenance schemes and Health and Safety
