Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Establish, maintain, and enforce robust change and release governance processes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Lead planning for release cycles, including communication, stakeholder alignment, governance reporting, and approval management.
Direct risk assessments, contingency planning, and escalation management for major and high-impact releases.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, security, and IT service management standards across all change activities.
Serve as the central point of contact for governance bodies, steering committees, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Extensive experience managing change and release processes within large-scale, complex IT programmes.
Proven ability to coordinate intricate release schedules with multiple teams, dependencies, and environments.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, risk management practices, and compliance-led delivery.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
Familiarity with Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) or comparable enterprise platforms.
Experience working on major public-sector or digital transformation initiatives.
