Location: Northampton (Hybrid)
Rate: £16.00 per hour
Hours: 7 hours per day (plus 30‑minute lunch)
Working Week: Up to 4 days per week (ideally 3 days if highly experienced)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Your new role
We are seeking a Data Protection Support Officer to join our client's team on a temporary 12‑week assignment. This role offers a part time arrangement and flexibility in working days, making it ideal for an experienced professional looking for a short‑term opportunity with impact.
- Support the organisation with information governance processes.
- Handle and process GDPR and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and internal policies.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on data protection matters.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in information governance.
- Proven ability to process GDPR and FOI requests.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Previous experience working within a housing environment (preferred but not essential).
