Due to area expansion City College Norwich is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Childcare Lecturer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people (ages 16-19) and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience. You will be teaching a diverse range of students working at level 2 (with the possibility of teaching across the area from L1-T Level) as part of our Childcare team.
As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for our students. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum content and ensure that the learning experience is both challenging and rewarding. Course leadership responsibilities will also form part of the role.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
