What you'll be doing
Join the House of Commons as a Project Manager and help deliver projects that shape and protect the iconic Parliamentary Estate. Managing schemes from £50k to £2m, you'll lead work from initial concept to handover, ensuring compliance with Parliamentary design standards and delivering outcomes that meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll steer projects through the RIBA stages, developing business cases, managing design and procurement, coordinating specialist consultants and reviewing technical work. On site, you'll oversee contractors to ensure progress, cost and quality stay on track, always meeting safety, security and heritage requirements. With established frameworks to support delivery and scope to innovate and improve ways of working, you'll have the chance to influence how Parliament delivers its projects and occasionally deputise for senior leaders.
If you have a background in fabric and enjoy managing multidisciplinary inputs, this is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the UK's most unique and high-profile environments.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 60% of your time in the office.
