Crynodeb
Please see attached job description. Surgical management of elective and emergency Colorectal Surgery with a primary interest in Cancer. The candidate will work within a department of eight other Consultant, and one Specialist, Colorectal Surgeons andparticipatein the wider emergency on call rota. Theprimary focusof the post will beLGI Cancer and general Colorectal Surgery, working closely with the existing surgeons andmulti-disciplinary teamsin providingtheseservices. Activitywill also includeLower GI endoscopy lists. The post holder willparticipatein the on-call rota for Emergency General Surgery services based at the John Radcliffe Hospital site. The postholders duties will be primarily at The Churchill Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital but it is a condition of the appointment that the postholder will be willing to work in any of the Trusts locationswithin Oxfordshire,includingtheHorton General Hospitalin Banbury.
