Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? Schools across Sandwell are looking for SEN Teachers to join their dedicated teams. These roles involve working with children who have a variety of needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD, and SEMH, in both specialist settings and mainstream schools with SEND provision.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning goals.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure pupils thrive.
- Implement strategies to help pupils develop independence and confidence.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, nurturing approach.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
