We have exciting opportunities in Special Educational Needs (SEND) schools across Bloxwich, Willenhall, Aldridge, Darlaston, Brownhills, and Walsall Town Centre. These schools are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to support KS2 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Key Responsibilities
- Full-time role starting ASAP, continuing into the New Year.
- Support KS2 classes of pupils with moderate learning difficulties, including literacy and numeracy challenges, speech and language needs, and social/emotional development.
- Work alongside experienced teachers, HLTAs, and other Teaching Assistants in a collaborative team.
- Deliver tailored support through one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional well-being.
About the Pupils
- Moderate learning difficulties impacting core subjects.
- Speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Social and emotional needs requiring patience and positive reinforcement.
- Some pupils may need sensory support and help maintaining focus.
