Are you a proactive and enthusiastic Science Technician looking for your next role? A welcoming and progressive secondary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join their Science Department as soon as possible.

The Role:

• Support the delivery of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages

  
  

• Prepare, set up and tidy away equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons

  
  

• Ensure laboratories are maintained to a safe and high standard

  
  

• Assist with stock control, ordering supplies and organising resources

  
  

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance the learning experience

  
  

• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain accurate records

  
  Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant laboratory experience

    
    

  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures

    
    

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    
    

  • Willingness to start immediately and attend interviews at short notice

    
    

  • Enhanced DBS check required
