SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT Hours: 5 Hours per week – Term Time Only Grade: Grade 2 - £24,796 x 11.87% (Pro rata for working term time only) Start date: Required as soon as possible
The Governing Body wish to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work in this happy and successful school and complement our existing team.
The successful candidate will: • Be comfortable with children, and be able to deal with them on a daily basis. • Have patience and empathy in dealing with children. • Have excellent people skills. • A willingness to work hard.
Duties will include: • Supervising children in the Dining Hall, in the playground and, when it is raining, in the classroom. • Promoting positive behaviour and encourage good manners. (in line with the school’s behaviour policy). • Following the School Safeguarding policy and procedures. • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils. • Supporting children in developing social skills and playing cooperatively.
